Cemetery clean up starts March 10

The annual Poplar Bluff City Cemetery clean up begins March 10.

The Poplar Bluff Cemetery Department will clean both the City and Woodlawn portions.

City officials ask that residents remove any flower arrangements, personal items and decorations they would like to keep before March 10. The clean up will be completed by April 1. After that date, items can be returned, officials said.

The two city cemeteries encompass approximately 15,000 graves, including 53 acres at City Cemetery and 17 acres at Woodlawn.
