Qulin, Fisk schools list screenings, enrollment dates

Twin Rivers R-10 Preschool screening, kindergarten enrollment, head start, early childhood recruitment will be from 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, at Qulin Middle School and Tuesday, March 24, at Fisk Middle School.

The screenings will include health, dental, speech/language, vision, hearing and development. Children enrolling in Kindergarten must turn 5 before Aug. 1, 2020.

Information for applying for Head Start and Early Childhood Programs will be available for children age 3 years before Aug. 1 up to school age.

Parents should bring children birth to 5 years of age (not yet in kindergarten) for the screening.

Each child should bring: Immunization records, Birth certificate, social security card and parent picture identification

Children enrolling for Kindergarten must also bring: three items with physical address proving proof of residency.

Children should come for the screening whether all shots are up to date and whether birth certificate or social security number is available at this time or not.
