The following cases were recently acted upon in Circuit Court, Criminal Division:

Will James Dixon IV of the 800 block of Maud Street pleaded guilty May 6 to the Class E felony of failure to register as a sex offender.

The court sentenced him to two years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and ordered he pay $46 to the Crime Victims’ Fund (CVF).


Tony Chad Burnham of the 400 block of Second Street pleaded guilty May 7 to the Class D felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court sentenced him to nine years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and recommended he be placed in a long-term treatment program, with a bed ate of June 24. The court also ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.


Joshua Adam Murphee of the 1900 block of Wallace Street pleaded guilty May 7 to the Class D felony of stealing.

The court sentenced him to four years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.


Kenneth Allen Smith of Wappapello pleaded guilty May 7 to two Class D felonies of possession of a controlled substance.

The court sentenced him to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, with suspended execution of the sentence, and placed him on five years’ supervised probation on each of his cases. The court ordered he pay $46 to the CVF and successfully complete an alternative services program in each case.


Stacy A. Boyer of the 1700 block of Cross Street admitted violating her probation May 7 on the Class C felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court revoked her probation and sentenced her to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. The court recommended she be placed in a 120-day shock incarceration program, with a bed date of June 3.


Jacob Allen Jackson of the 700 block of Lexington Avenue was sentenced after earlier pleading guilty to eight Class D felonies of second-degree burglary.

The court sentenced him to three, seven-year terms in the Missouri Department of Corrections on three of the counts and ordered the sentences to be served consecutively.

The court also sentenced Jackson to five, seven-year prison terms on the remaining counts and ordered they be served concurrently with all the counts.

The court recommended he be placed in a 120-day shock incarceration program, with a bed date of June 3, and ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.


Charles Richard Taylor of the 1200 block of County Road 564 pleaded guilty May 7 to the Class D felony of second-degree burglary.

The court suspended the imposition of his sentence and placed him on five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered he pay $46 to the CVF and successfully complete an alternative services program.


Robin Ann Preslar of Harviell pleaded guilty May 14 to four Class D felonies of providing invalid certificates as proof of workers’ compensation insurance.

The court suspended the imposition of her sentence and placed her five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered she pay $46 to the CVF and $4,800 in restitution to be paid in full within two years of May 14.


Gregory Leo Robertson of the 5300 block of Highway W pleaded guilty May 14 to the Class E felony of driving while intoxicated (persistent offender).

The court sentenced Robertson, who was charged as a prior and persistent offender, to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, with suspended execution of the sentence.

The court placed him on five years’ supervised probation and ordered he pay $46 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund and complete 480 hours of community service.


Sean Michael Arnold of the 2200 block of County Road 410 pleaded guilty May 14 to the Class D felony of stealing.

The court suspended the imposition of his sentence and placed him on five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered he pay $46 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund and complete 100 hours of community service.


Chad Buehler of Park Hills, Mo. pleaded guilty May 14 to the Class C felony of stealing leased or rented property.

The court suspended the imposition of his sentence and placed him on five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered he pay $46 to the CVF, $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund and $3,375 in restitution at $100 per month, beginning July 1, and complete 100 hours of community service.


Jason E. Gluck of the 800 block of Clare Avenue admitted violating his probation May 14 on the Class D felony of non-support and pleaded guilty to the Class D felony of first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle.

The court revoked his probation and sentenced him to four years in the Missouri Department of Corrections on the non-support charge.

The court also sentenced him to six years in prison on the tampering charge and ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.

The court also ordered Gluck’s sentences to be served concurrently.


Michelle Jaylene Lewis of Oxly admitted violating her probations May 14 on the Class D felonies of tampering with electronic monitoring equipment and receiving stolen property.

The court revoked her probations and ordered the execution of her previously suspended four-year sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections on the tampering charge and previously suspended six-year sentence on the receiving stolen property charge.

The court ordered Lewis’ sentences be served concurrently and recommended she be placed in a 120-day shock incarceration program.

Lewis was ordered to pay $10,649.53 in restitution on her receiving stolen property case.


Nicholas A. Martin of Bloomfield pleaded guilty May 14 to the Class D felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court sentenced him to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and ordered it run concurrently with any other sentence he currently is serving.

The court ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.


Mark Stephen Rhodes of Chaffee, Mo. was sentenced May 21 after earlier admitting to violating his probation on the Class D felony of possession of a controlled substance and the Class E felony of tampering with physical evidence.

The court revoked his probation and ordered the execution of his two previously suspended four-year sentences in the Missouri Department of Corrections

The court recommended Rhodes be placed in a long-term treatment program, with a bed date of July 8.

The court also ordered Rhodes’ sentences to be served consecutively and concurrently with a Cape Girardeau County case.


Jeremy Edward Slavings of the 1000 block of County Road 523 pleaded guilty May 14 to the Class D felony of second-degree domestic assault.

The court suspended the imposition of his sentence and placed him on five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered he pay $46 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund and complete a batterer’s intervention program.


Daniel K. Upchurch of Springfield, Mo. was sentenced May 14 after earlier admitting to violating his probation on the Class C felony of forgery.

The court revoked his probation and ordered the execution of his previously suspended seven-year sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections


Rashad L. Marshall, no address listed, pleaded guilty May 14 to the Class D felony of unlawful possession of a firearm.

The court sentenced Marshall, who was charged as a prior and persistent offender, to 10 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.


William Chad Arnold of Knobel, Ark., pleaded guilty May 21 to the Class D felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court sentenced Arnold, who was charged as a prior and persistent offender, to five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.


Jason Michael Aycock of Doniphan pleaded guilty May 21 to the Class D felony of unlawful possession of a firearm.

The court sentenced Aycock, who was charged and a prior and persistent offender, to 10 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, with suspended execution of his sentence.

The court placed him on five years’ supervised probation and ordered he pay $46 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund and complete 100 hours of community service.


Anthony D. Griffin of the 100 block of County Road 560 pleaded guilty May 21 to the Class D felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court sentenced him to four years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and ordered his sentence to run concurrently with any other sentence he currently is serving. The court also ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.


Tiffanie Rashelle Webber of the 100 block of Angelia pleaded guilty May 21 to the Class D felony of forgery.

The court sentenced her to five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and ordered her sentence to run concurrently with any other sentence she currently is serving. The court also ordered she pay $46 to the CVF.


Cheryl Lyn Braddock of Ellsinore was sentenced May 21 after earlier pleaded guilty to two Class D felonies of stealing.

The court sentenced her to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, with suspended execution of her sentence, and placed her on five years’ supervised probation in each of her cases.

The court ordered Braddock’s sentences to be served consecutively and ordered she pay $46 to the CVF in each of her cases.

In one of her cases, the court also ordered she $200 in restitution and in prosecuting attorney fees, at $50 per month and complete 100 hours of community service.

In her other case, Braddock was ordered to pay $750 in restitution at $50 per month, beginning July 1.


James Robert Harris of Dexter was sentenced May 21 after earlier pleading guilty to two Class C felonies of delivery of a controlled substance.

The court sentenced him to nine years in the Missouri Department of Corrections on each count and ordered the sentences to be served concurrently.

The court recommended he be placed in a 120-day shock incarceration program, with a bed date of June 17, and ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.


Judy Lynn Hester of Doniphan admitted violating her probation May 21 on the Class D felony of first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle.

The court revoked her probation and sentenced her to five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.


Jeremy Lee Lankford of Poplar Bluff pleaded guilty May 21 to the Class A misdemeanor of fourth-degree domestic assault.

The court suspended the imposition of his sentence and placed him on two years’ supervised probation through the Citizens’ Advisory Board.

The court ordered he pay $10 to the CVF and complete a batterer’s intervention program and 100 hours of community service.


Tyrelle D. Thompson of the 5000 block of Nellie Sue Circle admitted violating his probation May 21 on the Class B felony of second-degree robbery.

The court revoked his probation and ordered the execution of his previously suspended eight-year sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections.


Phillip Harper Jr. of Cardwell, Mo. admitted violating his probation May 21 on the Class C felony of second-degree assault.

The court revoked his probation and ordered the execution of his previously suspended seven-year sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
