Gas tax

to fix roads

Hello Speakout, well MoDOT and the various construction firms that they dole money out to who are campaigning again for a fuel tax increase or some kind of a tax increase. Uh, of course I'm sure the highway patrol was on standby to try to grab as much of it as they can. Um, but you know I would I'd encourage every one in Missouri to take a little trip down 67 Highway south of Poplar Bluff and turn West on 160 and drive to Doniphan and turn around and come back. That's a new road that's new pavement that's new extra lanes. Can you trust those people with more tax dollars? MoDOT signed off on that and their inspectors was there every day. A major road builder in Missouri did the roadwork and the asphalt so you need to drive it and then make your decision if you wanna let those folks have more of your money then vote for a road tax increase. If you thank that's a good road and that they did a fine job with your money.

New mayor

Glad to see we elected as mayor someone who tried to spend 10 million dollars that we didn't have. Thank you.

Higher taxes?

I hope that since they're gonna raise the teachers salaries that doesn't mean they're gonna raise our taxes. We pay enough d@#n taxes the way it is! Thank you.
