Senate race

In regards to the Senate election all I know is Claire McCaskill's Hillary Clinton's biggest cheerleader from the start. Now she's in Beverly Hills with Obama. She could care less about us undeplorable gun totin' hillbillies in the state of Missouri. Enough said.

Twin Rivers vote

Thanks to the Twin Rivers voters. Now Mr. Siebert, I told you once and I'll tell you again. How many times does the people have to tell you NO!? I got an idea. Get down to the job that you were hired to do. Teach the kids and not build a recreation center which only focuses on basketball. There is or there is supposed to be other activities going on like the band program for one. There is very little support there. Hire qualified teachers to teach not a bunch of aides who's related to the board members or someone's good buddy. About the only thing I can see that you are teachin' is livin' beyond your means and dunn the people to bail you out. And what type of people do you have as board members who would let the buildings deteriorate to the condition with repairs over one million dollars? And if I am correct it's been about three years now that you and your staff and volunteers was goin' to do these repairs. Thank you. If this is not printed we will know where the paper stands.

Rough road

This is called bad roads and bad supervisors. It's no wonder our county roads are like they are and no wonder levees keep breaking after they are fixed. The head man at the Butler County Maintenance shed doesn't know what he's doing. He's got three or four people under him that drive around looking at things that need to be fixed and then they turn their heads away so they don't have to tell him. You try to explain something to 'em and he winds up chewin' your butt out. I don't know how he ever got the job in the first place. He's got a very smart mouth and needs to be replaced by somebody with a more friendly attitude. Thank you.

Greitens' Judge

Just interested to know if the judge who's gonna hear Greitens' case is he a Democrat? Sounds like he might be a Democrat and you know they are sore losers. They can't stand to lose and um, they, don't want anybody to get ahead in life. They're, more or less spend the money and let's not work to make it. Thank you.

Housing Board

For the city council to let a special interest group like the landlords' association make decisions for the town may leave it open to conflict of interest, abuse, scandal and lawsuits. The function of landlords is to buy properties cheap, develop it and profit from it. A board like this could put the squeeze on property owners with threats and fines to force property owners to sell for nothing and profit from it. The only way to avoid that is to have a written rule in place that says that no member of city hall, any member of the landlords association or members of any group on the board could ever purchase any property being brought for consideration before this board. Threats and fines are no way to run a town. Bye.
