Octogenarian shares opinion on sexual advances

Yes, I just have a question for all these people that are complaining about, um, sexual advances 40 and 50 years ago. Why didn't they open their mouths back then? Simply because the person that was doin' it was a teenager just like they were. Uh, when your're a teenager you do lots of things that you really wouldn't do if your grown up. And I don't know 'bout anybody else, but um, I'm kickin' over 80 years old and I know there's a lot of it goin' on when I was a kid and we wouldn't of thought twice of it. Didn't mean nothin' by it; just was bein' boys and the girls weren't much better sorry. It, it is a two way street. If anybody thinks it's not maybe you oughta go to one of the public schools and see the action. If girls wanna, don't want advances towards them they oughta wear clothes that cover 'em up instead of leaving everything out to no imagination and the boys are 'bout the same way. Wearin' their pants clear down to where their butt shows and everything else shows. Sorry but that's my opinion.

Is Twin Rivers board tryin' to break school?

Yes, I would like to speak out about the Twin Rivers school district project that is being, uh, the new buildings that are to be built. We spent almost two million dollars renovating school buildings at Broseley, Fisk and Qulin. Why should the people of Twin Rivers district want to spend another 7-8 millions dollars to build a new building when we spent this money already? Is the board tryin' to break the school? I think of they are they're doin' a real good job of it. Twin Rivers voters we need to vote down this new project that the school board is trying to pull over on us. Believe it's not worth it and we should vote it down. Thank you.

What's the truth?

Yes I wanna make a comment about the new buildings they're proposing to build at Broseley. Twin Rivers people are being told the whole story. The kids will be moved out of Qulin, they will be moved out of Fisk and all of it will be moved to Broseley. Eventually the buildings at Qulin and Fisk will be condemned. People are NOT being told the truth! I applaud the board members that voted against this. It's not good for the district. This is not good for the people. Thank you.

Um, good-bye to the downtown

My comment is regarding the Northwest Medical Center deal for the city hall. Our city council plans to ruin Poplar Bluff to the downtown they say they want to build up so badly. Let's just move everything that is supporting the downtown they say they want to build up so badly. Let's just move everything that is supporting the downtown area out. Northwest Medical Center, when they do that they will ruin the north end of town as they ruined it by this low income housing that's being put in. They don't give a crap about the downtown area or else they would've rethought this. If they were to take a popular vote by the city of Poplar Bluff, all the citizens they would be voted down. They would want it to be kept downtown. There must be money exchanging hands trying to get this pushed through. Um, good-bye to the downtown. The city council don't care about you and doesn't care about the people of Poplar Bluff. Thank you.
