24 arrests a

waste of money

Yes, I just like to know what the 24 arrests (Drug Probe) at what cost to the taxpayers -- 24 arrests, 24 months -- one arrest for one month. I'm guessing it's up there high for taxpayers. Is that really where are taxes should be going for drug stings where police set up people make controlled buys? It's just a waste of taxpayers' money. 24 arrests. 24 months. What a waste!

Middle school

driving issues

When you have to go to the middle school in the morning for the most part now traffic runs in a very orderly fashion. When you go to any after-school function, it is a massive free-for-all to get into the regular parking lot. I couldn't figure out why it's this way, but I'm guessing the difference is there's a police officer at the middle school to keep these animals under control.

You are not winning a prize. It's not the Indy 500. You don't have to act like a crazy person when you are in a parking lot. I'm really starting to question whether many of you made a passing grade in drivers' education. It appears that even if you took drivers' education, you don't have common sense and you can't count to three. You can let someone go and it does not make you less of a person at all. Some of you people really need to take a breath when you leave any type of school function especially if it's off campus. You are really modeling poor behavior for your children.

Downtown job

pays too much

I was reading the Speak Out tonight and it seems to me that $50,000 a year for the lady that's gonna be helpin' downtown and I believe that's way too much.

There's a better

place to cut

Yes, I feel if the city needs to make a cut it should be in the personnel that's just taken over the downtown project instead of making police cuts.

There's a way

to fight back

Well, Speak Out, it's official. I just saw it on TV. It's okay to cut the line in a store. You can just barge passed all those people who have been standing there and get ahead of them. And, get this! If anyone dares say something to the rude (person) that cut the line, they just might be banned from the store or mall for life. I just saw this on Channel 12 news, so just let the rude (person) run over ya and vote with your money! If you have a store that allows such rudeness fill the cart up, walk off and leave it. Not only will they not make any money off of you, but they will have to pay someone to put that stuff back on the shelf.
