Government should make insurance companies pay

You know I was just thinking it's kinda one-sided when various government entities make you carry various kinds of insurance and yet don't mandate that those insurance companies pay off on claims. You shouldn't have to hire an attorney to make an insurance company do what they are supposed to do when the state or federal government is forcing you to make payments to them. I guess the insurance companies are invested so much in the political process that they can just do what they want to do.

Yes. I was just looking at the DAR today and there were some sales and auctions and for the life of me I have never figured out why that print has to be so small that you cannot read what people have for sale, so I know that I am not the only person with this problem. Even with my glasses sometimes I have to get a magnifying glass so if you all could make the print a little bigger it would sure help a bunch of people. I know I am not the only one that has problems like this. So if there is a money issue charge the people who are having the sale make 'em pay a little extra and make the print a little bigger! Please! Have mercy on the people and I'm not that old that I should have a problem so therefore please help the buyer put the print bigger. Thank you. Have a great day!

Where's the city services for

seniors, vets

I have lived here in Poplar Bluff a couple of years now and it seems to me that the city doesn't do much for seniors and veterans.

Shame, shame for stealing from dead

We recently placed a $45 bouquet of silk roses on my father's grave at the City Cemetery and someone has stolen them. May God have mercy on the soul of anyone who would steal flowers off of a grave.
