Forest needs

those funky rules

On May 11 of this year in Speak Out I'd like to respond to the one that is "Funky Rules of the Forest." The highlights of that basically he's not happy that he can only camp for 21 out of 30 days in the U. S. Forest Mark Twain National Forest. I can tell you exactly why they won't let him stay for 30 days because the man would move there! The next thing he'd have chickens in the front yard. I think that law needs to pass and stay that way. If nothing else, drop it down to 14 days out of 30.

Rude trio at

PBHS graduation

I just had to acknowledge this situation last night at the PB graduation ceremony at the Black River Coliseum I saw three of the most rude people I've seen in a while. While the graduates were marching in there was three women (two about my age, 77 years, and another younger woman) stood up the whole time while 300 graduates entered to sit down. People behind them were trying to take pictures of their graduates but had difficulty doing so because they were in their way. They were the only three standing the whole time. One young man asked them politely to sit down, but they refused. I wish I knew their names because I would have mentioned them in this call-in to Speak Out.

I wonder if they thought they were the only ones who had someone graduating and as the Tim McGraw song says, "Be Humble and Kind." Thank you and pray for these rude people.
