Where's pride

[mail] Where is the pride?

The parking lot at the Poplar Bluff Square is appalling. You would think the owner would have more pride in the appearance of his property. The pot holes are worse than riding down a gravel road. The entrance to the shopping area and the US Bank is beyond description. If the customers of the bank and the shops would stop shopping there, then the owners of the stories would complain to the property owner to have the parking lot resurfaced.

Thanks to Mr. Bailey for taking care of the Mansion Mall. That should be a good example for the owners of the Bank and the Mall to follow.

Join Hillary?

Well, America, it's now official. Hillary's gonna run and in all of her smugness, she asks us to join with her in this race.

Join with her and these failed policies, not only the current sitting presidential Democrats, but all of her failed policies from the past? So, Hillary, the only thing I want to say is this. Join you? Like hell, Hillary!

Nobody has the right to judge

Yes, I have somethin' for Speak Out. It's something that my sister-in-law has told me and she'll be married 25 years this June and I did not have to say her name because she'll know when I have to say somethin. She put me down, which I'm used to, 'cause I'm on Medicare and Medicaid, but I worked 33 years, had back surgery, so, yes, I do need help and there are probably thousands of other people out there that need help, too. And, nobody has the right to judge but God.

She kinda insinuated that it must be nice that we get all of this free medical care and I don't think it is nice because if I could I would still be working and I would be proud because I am a very proud person and what she did was not very nice. And I might take it from a stranger, but not my own kin, so to me she is not my kin. And I just want to have my say and thank you very much because there a probably a lot of other people out there that feel the same way I do. I worked 33 years hard labor worked standing on my feet working long hours in a factory and when I got laid off I worked part-time. And I paid every penny in that I am getting and I deserve it just like other do, so I hope and pray that you will print this because she just showed her ignorance by attacking me and I hope my brother reads this and maybe if he don't think the same way maybe his eyes will be opened to what kind of person he has. Thank you very much and I think it's a disgrace that she has put the whole community down and the whole world down about being on food stamps or Medicare and Medicaid and I had rotten surgery from a doctor and it's not my fault! Thank you very much.

Sittin' instead

of mowing

Well, spring's here and summer's coming. It amazed me that some men would rather pay someone to mow their yard than to work just a little bit outside and try and get a little of that exercise. They're sittin and watchin TV and have their snacks and watch out the window and watch the neighbors work. They may work at a job, but a woman that a good housekeeper does the laundry, chauffeurs the kids around and keeps everything going, so they're also busy. There is some upkeep to houses that men can do to keep their homes intact, but they just don't want to. This may not get printed because it isn't political. Thank you.
