Police and fire dispatchers say, 'Thanks'

Monday, April 27, 2015

To the Editor:

The week of April 12 --18, 2015 has been set by Congress as National Public Safety Telecommunications Week to honor those emergency dispatchers that serve the public needs. I would like to express my appreciation and gratitude to the businesses that donated items to be used to recognize those that work as Police and Fire Dispatchers for the City of Poplar Bluff. Thanks to these wonderful businesses we were able to celebrate the week with a variety of refreshments and contest prizes. Without their help, this would not have been possible. Thank you to . . . Simply Swirled, Pizza Hut, Donut House, Sterling Bank, The Bread Company, Buffalo Wild Wings, Colton's Steak House and Butler County EMS.

Sincerely,

Kim Johnson

Chief Communications Officer

Poplar Bluff Police Dept.
