Friday, April 10, 2015

To the Editor:

The Poplar Bluff Mules wrestling team just completed a very successful season and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped make it so.

First, the Poplar Bluff Booster Club for purchasing us a much needed practice mat that will also be used for the youth wrestling program. The Mules youth traveling program, Team Action, for helping us cover expenses above and beyond the high school budget. We would also like to acknowledge the contributions of all the youth coaches who donated their time and energy to help the youth program succeed, along with all the sponsors of the youth T-shirts; Hopper's Service Auto Repair; Edward Jones -- Brian Taylor; Rice Flying Services Inc.; Rahlmann Valuation Services; DGM Partnership; Hannah's Hair and Boutique; Scott Post Co, Inc.; Sweetwater Development LLC.

We would also like to thank all the parents for their contributions to the program. Michelle Dugas (road trips and banquet) and Chartwell's food service (road trips) for providing food, and all the parents who contributed time and money to prepare our banquet and make it such a great evening.

Finally, the Junior High coaches who provide the young wrestlers with a great start; Lance Bell, Jason Smothers, Chuck McClure and Brian Taylor.

The Mules wrestling team would just like to say "thanks."
