Every day should be Thanksgiving day

To the Editor:

Another Thanksgiving Day has gone. Hope everyone who reads this paper had a lovely day. I am sure many thought of the many blessings we have to be thankful for. Or I hope they thought of and appreciated all of the many blessings we have. One thing we should mention first, when we are counting our blessings, is isn't it wonderful that we were born in the United States. I really do think many people think about that when they are counting their blessings.

I think I shall mention a few things that we should be extra thankful for. How about our military, health workers. The long haul truck drivers. That is a terrible life. Not only away from home, truck driving is hard on a person's body.

I know of only one other country that has a Thanksgivings Day. That is Canada. I think in October. I cannot find a calendar that has it on it. When we were in Montreal Canada one of the large churches in downtown Montreal had a Thanksgiving Service for the many Americans that were working in Canada, Thanksgiving Day is my favorite holiday. Of course everyday should be Thanksgiving Day. So many things to be thankful for.
