Where's grants?

Where is Kaplan's new grant writer (and the assistant grant writer)??? Is there no grant monies available for the IT equipment that we so desperately need that there was no time for the bidding process. What about the body cameras for our police department??? We read of other municipalities obtaining this equipment through grants. Seems somewhat pointless to install all of this expensive equipment in temporary quarters -- municipal utilities, rented city hall, etc. Kaplan says they need "voice mail". How much would it cost to add voice mail to the current phone lines . . . probably a few dollars a month -- not a few million? It seems the city manager doesn't return phone calls anyway -- this probably isn't going to change!

Spend, spend

Kaplan is the Yankee version of Devin Stephenson -- without the hair and the flair . . . spend -- spend -- spend . . . forget tomorrow --now-now-now! Guess what? Tomorrow does come and we are all left holding an empty bag.
