Wouldn't it be wonderful if we had a local newspaper that did a little investigative reporting? The immediate event that I am referring to is the purchase of Home Oil Co. by the MFA Oil Co. There's no other Poplar Bluff based company going on. The immediate result was that MFA raised the price of LP by 20 cents per gallon. LP as you know is crucial in rural areas for home heating and to a certain extent the irrigation of cropland. They're in the process of trying to or they are negotiating a buy-out of Reed Oil Co. at Doniphan.

It's not brain surgery, folks. When there is a monopoly there is no competition. Think about it.

Well, America, it seems that we are losing more and more of our rights every day. And what's ironic about this comment I'm making is yesterday, Constitution Day, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals basically told all Americans that on Cinco de Mayo you are forbidden, repeat, forbidden to display American flags on any of your clothing, any of your vehicles --you see where I'm going with this, America?

We are losing our country to radical courts that want to fit their own personal little agendas. Mind you, the 9th Circuit is located in San Francisco. And then tell every other American that your flag doesn't mean anything on that day.

So, America, it's time for you to wake up and, yes, on Cinco de Mayo I'm going to be red, white and blue on everything including my backside just to flaunt the fact that no court is going to tell me I cannot be patriotic 365 days a year because I am American. Wake up, America. You see the clock is ticking.

America, when are you going to wake up? We now find that the CDC (Center for Disease Control) has now along with our own government been hiding the fact from the American public that this strange respiratory virus that has been striking our children all across the nation and now including all the way up into Canada is coming from the illegal aliens streaming across our southern border.

The reason why I sound so angry is this: I just received a call from my step-son living in Canada. He lives around the Toronto area and yes, it has even struck up there again. Their health minister isn't so quiet about where the disease is coming from and sadly even with the social medicine that they have in Canada my granddaughter, who came down with it, is now having to be shipped from Canada all the way to London. That's right, you heard me, London! She's on a respirator and they don't know if she'll survive the trip.

So, thank you, President Obama, for the wonderful job you have done securing our border. God help you that it should strike your children, Mr. President. Think about that, America.
