Sacred Heart thanks DAR for coverage

To the Editor,

We would like to thank The Daily American Republic for the great color coverage you gave the Dancing with the P.B. Stars at the Rodgers Theatre. You did a great job in thanking the businesses and organizations that supported the event and in writing the article that explained the event.

Hays Music and Rock, Inc. directed by Danny Williams were left out of the article. They provided the pre-show entertainment which included some great band members and singers (including some students from Sacred Heart School) who warmed the crowd up on a very cold Missouri night.

We want to again thank all those who came to the event. They had some great entertainment and they showed their support of the dancers, the performers, and the students of Sacred Heart School. It was a wonderful example of the community of Poplar Bluff showing off some very talented people. We hope to see you next year on January 4, 2014 for another great night of entertainment.
