Increased parking enforcement starts

Once again, the busy shopping season is nearing and you are all aware the parking space in the downtown area is limited. This is a year round issue for merchants and our police department. The police department enforces the 2-Hr. parking ordinance "365.050" throughout the year; however this increases in intensity during the holiday shopping season. We ask that you remind all of your employees of the two hour parking restriction and suggest the parking garage as an option for parking. With cooperation from all business owners and employees, coupled with aggressive enforcement on our part we hope to make the parking situation better.

The increased enforcement will commence on the 27th of November. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.
