Send letters of love to Sandy Hook School

To the Editor,

Here we are heading into the happiest time of the year, and what a terrible thing to have happened in Connecticut. Terrible does not even start to describe this tragedy. What other word does one use?

I just cannot imagine that happening to one so young, and so many at one time. How are those families going to get through this holiday season? We can all send many thoughts and prayers and letters. But that terrible hole will still be there in these parents' lives. There was one parent who said, "I would rather be the parent whose child was taken than be the parent of the person who took the child's life."

Here is the address of the school and town. We can all send letters and love. If anyone can send money that would be more than nice. But the love is, I am sure, the most needed.
