Please ID

those folks

Once again I'm looking at a "Support local business" page in the DAR, but I have no idea who the people in businesses are. Why can't you identify the people and their place of business so we can support them? Thank you.

Advice on

no-call list

I'd like to reply to the lady or the man who called in about the "no-call" list doesn't work. It doesn't do any good to tell the Cardservices that you're on a "no-call" list. You call the 800 number to Chris Koster's "no-call" list and turn them in. You write down the name, whatever they use when they call you, the time they call you, and the date they call you and call Chris Koster's list. Call his number and you will eventually get them off because they do track 'em down and they do find them. I had problems with Cardservices for over a year and it took 'em that long to find them because every time they call they use a different number, so you've got to keep calling Chris Koster and giving him that number so that they can track 'em down. They can't find 'em if they can't track 'em down. So, if you wanna be on the "no-call" list you cooperate and turn 'em in to the State and the State will find 'em. It doesn't do any good to tell 'em you're on a "no-call" list. I just don't even answer as soon as they what it is on my call ID I just pick it up and find out what the name is and tell 'em on "I'm on the 'no-call' list. Thank you for your money." That's what I tell 'em.

Meter, bill

don't match

I have been keeping track of my electric meter since the first of September. The readings on my bill do NOT match meter readings I have been taking daily. And the hub on the water and sewer meter has not been moved in four months. None of my neighbors have seen anyone at any time reading the meters. Is my bill being estimated? If we do not read our gas, electric, sewer and water meters are we being ripped off? We need your advice, Poplar Bluff.
