Get facts straight

To the Editor,

In the DAR's 9-23-2011, Speakout, this person writes "get the facts straight." Maybe this person should get the facts straight. It is not the government, but the employer and employees who pay into Social Security. The government is supposed to be the caretaker of this fund, not embezzle it.

Most employer and employees are forced to pay into this fund. High as prices are, most workers don't have any money left to save.
