PB FCA huddles attend Summit

Monday, December 12, 2011

To the Editor:

On Nov. 19, 40 members of the PBHS and PBJHS FCA huddles attended the annual state convention, the Summit. The Summit is held on the campus of the College of the Ozarks in Branson and is intended for huddles from Southern Mo. Approximately 300 students attended the Summit, which is a full day of worship, song, testimonies and group activities led by college students, including Zach Ferguson and Zach MacAnulty of Poplar Bluff. At the conclusion of the summit the kids got to go to Silver Dollar City.

PBHS and PBJHS huddles would like to thank the following for making this day possible: Bill Ray, SEMO FCA Coordinator, for all his support and making all our room arrangements; Lisa and Carlos Boyer, for helping chaperone the kids during the summit and at Silver Dollar City; Wesley Lewis, for driving us and who allowed their kids to have such an inspiring weekend and ultimately strengthen their lives and faith.
