Be thankful first

Yes, I'm calling in regards to all the people that are putting out Christmas decorations and lighting them up already. It's bad enough the stores put Christmas decorations out in September, but you know we do have a Thanksgiving which is a national holiday and our people who came over on the Mayflower and that learned from the Indians to have Thanksgiving day and how to grow the food and how to get along. And, I think we ought to celebrate Thanksgiving before we start pushing Christmas. Them that put out their Christmas decorations already some thing's wrong with them. They're just not very oriented on holidays and they sure must not think much of Thanksgiving. That's all I've got to say. It's poor taste. And, the stores I'm really . . . I just don't shop at the stores that stick their Christmas decorations out in September. Thank you very much.

Language issues

The International Atomic people say there is evidence that Iran is planning to make nuclear warheads and stuff. Iran denies this and plans a thorough response. The problem, excuse me, issue here probably can be chalked up to language. See if you agree. Muslims talk, yell about justice and peace. On close examination of these two terms we come to know that peace and justice for Muslims means just that--peace and justice for Muslims. No peace and justice for anyone else. Iran will explain that atomic power means peaceful stuff. For Islam, it means energy for Iran, but not in English. If we spell nuclear energy in plain old English we find it means nuclear warheads and stuff. In Arabic, peace means nuclear warhead. This problem will be an issue when it comes to Islamacare. The next thing Americans face after Obamacare will be the Islamacare. Islamacare means things like female genital mutilation. It means as a Muslim rapist in Australia said to his victim: my religion teaches me that I can do anything I want to you. It means marriage to nine year old girls. It means death to gays. But like the nuclear thing, Islamists will spell Islamacare one way and good old English Americans will spell the word differently. Islamacare means your taxes will go up to pay the jihad (Speak Out). Teachers teach your students how to spell in English. Thank you.

Help others

Yes, I would like this to be in the Speak Out column as a follow-up for "Tired of All the Excuses." In answer to the write up of "Tired of All the Excuses." You know some people are too proud to ask for help from a church because some churches ask the impossible of people and some people can't give it. But, you know, why don't you ask yourself the questions, "Am I a Christian?" by putting such a write up in the paper. A church is supposed to help people with no questions. Jesus was a good Samaritan. He healed the blind, made the lame walk and cured the leprosy. Some people are not as young as they once was and I following Jesus is an example of a good Samaritan. Have you been where they are? And, have you ever walked in their shoes? If you haven't, don't judge. God will be the judge. Thank you. Please put this in the Speak Out column as a follow-up to "Tired of All the Excuses." I would like to see it there today. Thank you.
