To the Editor:

On behalf of the PBHS Student Council, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the many community members and businesses who helped with the 2011 Football Homecoming. A big thank you to all the businesses on the parade route for allowing us the privilege of boosting school spirit before the Big Game: Black River Coliseum, Bluff Barber Shop, One Stop Computer Repair, US Post Office, Tom's Barber Shop, L & M Barber Shop, Faith's Office Supplies, Chiropractic Life Center, Hays The Music Store, Jim & Jerry's Restaurant, Downtown Furniture, McNeely Shoe Service, The Cafe, Dollar General Store, US Bank, 303, SE Missouri Behavioral Health, Cutting Edge, Timeless Treasurers, Covenant Care and all of the other downtown businesses that came out to watch and support the parade.

We would also like to thank Doug Bagby, Pam Kearbey, City Hall, Capt. Trout and the PB Police Dept., PB Fire Dept., Paula Hefner and Sew Much More, Hefner's Furniture Store, Will Miller's Florist, Rob Blackwell and Blackwell Baldwin, SEMO DJ Services, Becky Brooks, Frankie Moe, Susan McVey, Matt Looney, Nichole Conover and the countless others who supported and assisted us. Homecoming wouldn't have been the success it was without you and we truly appreciate all of your contributions.

In an effort to increase community awareness and support, we would also like to inform you that the Oct. 14th home football game against Rockwood Summit was the first "Pink Out" game. We encouraged all fans to wear white for the white-out game and pink for the pink-out game. Student Council sold T-shirts for these games for $15 each. All proceeds from the pink-out shirts will be donated to UCAN. Please contact our sponsor, Mrs. Hope Conover, at hconover@pk.k12.mo.us if you would like to order a shirt or need further information.

Sincerely,

PBHS Student Council.
