Hometown proud Generations celebrate at Iron Horse Festival

Tuesday, October 4, 2011

To the Editor,

Hooray, Hooray, Hooray! What a wonderful Iron Horse Celebration -- we give multitudes of thanks and also congratulations to the two outstanding directors, Tracy Frish, Downtown Development, and Rose Ann Huck, the all PBHS Grad celebration--great news coverage by DAR--all the officials keeping crowd control. All so very outstanding --we had it all, so much for everyone!!! The children's entertainment and play area -- music and outstanding food--car shows, trains, out on the run races--over 150 runners etc., etc.

Our Class of 1946 held our 65th reunion -- including all members of the 1940s and we really know about past celebrations. Ozark Jubilees, Dallas Days, Poplar Bluff Centennials, etc. -- and we bow to the young talented, energetic directors, staff and volunteers and say you understand the celebrating of just being alive -- being hometown proud and with people caring about people.

Thank you. Thank you.
