MLK honored in Poplar Bluff

Events were held Saturday at Wheatley School in recognition of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, after weather forced the cancellation in January. A second event was held Saturday for the memorial dedication of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Highway at the Butler County Courthouse. The memorial dedication includes a portion of Business 60/Pine Street at the Black River.
