The Polar Bear Gala, which took place on Dec. 3, included a catered dinner and dessert, auction, music and a video message from students of the Boys & Girls Club.

Boys & Girls Club of the Heartland CEO Chris Rushin speaks at the Polar Bear Gala. Boys & Girls Club gives academic support, extracurricular activities and life skills to its students. According to Rushin, Poplar Bluff’s program is one of the most successful out of the 14 in Missouri.
