Leonard Browning

Leonard Eddy Browning, 65, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at his home in Poplar Bluff.

Leonard was born on March 29, 1958, to Gilbert A. and Opal Mae (Smothers) Browning in Poplar Bluff.

Leonard was a self-employed mechanic at C & F Auto Salvage. He loved his family and many friends. He also adored his canine companions, especially Harley. Leonard was of the Baptist Faith.

Leonard is survived by two daughters, Crystal (Stephen) Merrell and Casey Browning; three sons, Clint, Dustin, and Dylan Browning; two sisters, Erma (David) Suttner and Marie Briggs; two brothers, Chris and Greg (Mimi) Browning; seven grandchildren, Tripp, Caden, Andie, Gunner, Jared, Cadence, and Mason; step-dad, Sonny Spencer.

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gilbert Ray; sister-in-law, Alita Browning; brother-in-law, Jack Briggs.

Visitation will be held from noon-1 p.m. Monday, June 5, 2023, at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral service will follow beginning at 1 p.m. with Pastor Rick White officiating. Burial will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
