Karen Crismon

Karen Jane Crismon, 72, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away on May 29, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Karen was born on Nov. 4, 1950, to Russell and Rayo (Veach) Edwards in Blytheville, Arkansas. She married Mike Crismon on March 27, 1970.

Karen loved being outdoors with her best friend, Mike, fishing and being at the river. She also enjoyed spending her evenings at the ball field or gym watching her grandkids and cheering them on to victory. Her great-grandkids stole her heart and had her wrapped around their teeny tiny fingers.

Karen is survived by her husband of 54 years, Mike; three children, Ricki (Kelly Moss) Crismon, Cody (Tara) Crismon, Russell (Andrea) Crismon, and raised like a daughter Kerri Lyn ( Doug) Reed; eight grandchildren, Lindsey (Grant) Lemonds, Nathan (Steffi) Cook, Makena (Nathan) Miller, Jagger, Reese, and Mia Crismon, and Kelsey and Austin Crismon; two great-grandchildren, Karter Lemonds, and Greyson Cook; Uncle Jimmy Veach; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins along with her best friend Janice Brewster. Karen was preceded in death by her parents: Russell and Rayo Edwards, and three brothers, Frankie, Kerry, and David Edwards.

Memorial celebration will be held from1:30-3 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services, 1100 Iron Bridge Road, Poplar Bluff, MO.
