Nearly $100,000 in property damage has been reported to heavy equipment being used by HR Quadri Construction for work on Highway 67 south and Highway 158.
The Butler County Sheriff’s Department was called Tuesday respond to an incident of property damage, according to Sheriff Mark Dobbs.
Two Caterpillar excavators and two Caterpillar haul trucks were reported damaged. The estimated repair costs for the damaged equipment are believed to exceed $93,000.
Law enforcement officials have launched an investigation into the matter, and anyone who may have pertinent information is urged to come forward and contact the Butler County Sheriff’s Department.
