Separate sealed bids for the Piedmont Walk Trail Extension Phase 2, to serve the City of Piedmont, Missouri will be received by the City Clerk at Piedmont City Clerk Office until 10:00 o’clock (A.M.) on May 18, 2021, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

The project shall consist of construction of approximately 1,550 linear feet of 6” wide and 4” thick asphalt extension of the City’s pedestrian trail including a 20’ prefabricated pedestrian walk bridge to tie Handy Park. located between Fir and Elm Streets, to the existing trail system in Ash Park (Allen Street).

The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the bid opening.

The Sponsor hereby notifies all bidders that this contract is subject to applicable labor laws, nondiscrimination provisions, wage rate laws and other federal laws including the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938. The Work Hours Act of 1962 and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 also apply.
