County firefighters responded at 1:25 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, to a grass fire at 9482 Highway AA.

According to the report, a small area, owned by Christopher Merritt, burned.

County firefighters responded at 2:01 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, to a woods fire in the 600 block of Mallard Lane.

According to the report, a small area burned.

County firefighters responded at 8:43 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, to a grass fire at 3310 Deer Haven Road.

According to the report, a small area burned.

County firefighters responded at 8:53 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, to a possible structure fire at 5100 block of County Road 628.

According to the report, the fire department was cancelled en route.

County firefighters responded at 6:19 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, to a structure fire at 96 County Road 488.

According to the report, the fire damaged the attic at the residence owned by William Owen.

According to the report, a small area, owned by Enrique Godinez, burned.

City firefighters responded at 1:33 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, to a report of a possible propane odor at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, 3100 Oak Grove Road.

According to the report, firefighters used a multimeter to check the area and nothing was detected.

City firefighters responded at 6:19 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, to an odor inside the Department of Social Services building at 1903 Northwood Drive.

According to the report, firefighters used a thermal-imaging camera to check the building and nothing was found.

City firefighters responded at 11:05 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, to a report of a fire, with a large amount of smoke, at the intersection of 11th and Apple street.

According to the report, firefighters found leaves burning at the 1225 Apple St. residence owned by Jama Russell. Russell reportedly was following all the local burn ordinances.
