Fire reports - Dec. 2
City firefighters responded at 3 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2, to an alarm at 516 Karen Drive, owned by the Poplar Bluff Housing Authority. It was investigation only.
City firefighters responded at 10:12 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, to a report of a cat stuck in a tree at 1208 Pershing St.
According to the report, a citizen told firefighters the cat had been chased up the tree by a dog about 20 minutes earlier.
Firefighters told the person to give the cat time to come down on its own. If the cat didnít come down within a few hours, firefighters used return with a ladder to remove it.
County firefighters responded at 7:33 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, to a report of a possible structure fire on County Road 338.
According to the report, the fire was a controlled burn of a large brush pile.
County firefighters responded at 5:17 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, to an alarm at 219 Physicians Parks Drive. It was investigation only.
