Mary Shamblin

Mary Sue Shamblin, 85, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, formerly of Qulin, Missouri, died Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Mark Twain Caring Center in Poplar Bluff.

Mrs. Shamblin was born March 21, 1938, in Qulin, daughter of the late Chester Sylvester and Ethel Iona Rose. She was of the Baptist faith and loved Gospel music. She was married to Ronnie Shamblin. He preceded her in death in 1995.

She is survived by three siblings: Laura (J.L.) Copeland of Malden, and Clara Faye Herbst and Doug (Allene) Rose, both of Qulin; and numerous nieces and nephews she loved as her own. In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by three siblings: Arnetta Brockman, Larry Rose, and David Rose.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2023 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Qulin. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at the Qulin Cemetery.
