MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL

A 25-year-old Wappapello man was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 11:15 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, on Highway J, one mile south of Cobb, in Stoddard County.

According to the report, Cory D. Messer was operating a 2003 GMC Yukon eastbound when it ran off the right side of the road. Messer reportedly overcorrected, which caused his vehicle to then run off the left side of the road and overturn.

Messer suffered moderate injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

A 33-year-old Mill Spring man was injured in an all-terrain-vehicle crash at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, on County Road 444, three miles south of Mill Spring.

According to the report, Robby L. Mosby was operating a 2018 Can-Am ATV southbound when it ran off the road and overturned.

Mosby, who was ejected, suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

A 24-year-old Marble Hill man was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 3:50 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, on Highway 34, four miles east of Silva.

According to the report, Jonathan C. Hancock was operating a 2007 Hyundai Odyssey eastbound when it ran off the road and struck a tree.

Hancock suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Hancock was arrested at 4:19 p.m. on suspicion of DWI and no seat belt. He was released.

A 64-year-old Poplar Bluff woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, on U.S. 60 at Morehouse.

According to the report, Jack Eubanks, 77, of Sikeston was operating a 2006 Ford pickup southbound when it pulled into the path of a 2019 Mazda being driven eastbound by Gary H. Cates, 65, of Poplar Bluff.

Cates’ vehicle allegedly struck Eubanks’ pickup in the side and then overturned in the road.

Cates’ passenger, Mary E. Cates, suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for treatment.

A 39-year-old Cape Girardeau man was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 5:45 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, on Highway E, one-half mile west of Lowndes.

According to the report, Aaron L. Ragan was operating a 2011 Buick Lucerne westbound when it crossed the center line and struck a 2014 Ford pickup being operated by David A. Helm, 36, of Greenville.

Ragan was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.

Courtney C. Dyal, 27, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 1:16 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, on suspicion of DWI and careless and imprudent driving. She was booked at the Stoddard County Jail and released.

Landress S. King, 51, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 9:45 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for assault and on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance (Hydrocodone), driving while revoked and speeding. He was booked at the New Madrid County Sheriff’s Department.

Arieal S. Lovins, 29, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 9:45 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, on suspicion of two counts of possession of a controlled substance (Ecstasy and marijuana). She was booked at the New Madrid County Sheriff’s Department and released.

Mason K. Hargraves, 27, of Campbell was arrested at 4:37 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia, DWI (drugs), speeding and no seat belt. He was booked at the Dunklin County jail and released.

BUTLER COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

Jana Leann Gibbs, 36, of Paragould, Arkansas, was booked at the Butler County jail Friday, Sept. 11, on suspicion of DWI. She was released.

Kenneth Edward Hall, 35, of Wappapello was booked at the Butler County jail Sunday, Sept. 13, on a Scott County failure to appear warrant for speeding.

Kenneth Wayne Lock, 43, of the 2300 block of Grand Avenue was booked at the Butler County jail Saturday, Sept. 12, on suspicion of peace disturbance and unlawful use of a weapon. He later was released.

Tina Renee Pankey of the 3300 block of North 14th Street reported Sept. 7 that her zero-turn lawn mower had been stolen from her shed sometime after Sept. 3.

POPLAR BLUFF POLICE DEPARTMENT

Renee Katherine Taylor, 41, of Williamsville was arrested at 7:15 p.m. Sept. 1 in the 700 block of East Pine Street on a federal warrant for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. She was booked at the Butler County jail and later released to federal authorities.

Steven Eugene Hardcastle, 46, of the 600 block of North D Street was arrested at 12:04 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, in the 100 block of South Westwood Boulevard on a Butler County warrant for third-degree domestic assault. He was booked at the Butler County jail, where he also is being held on a warrant for first-degree statutory rape.

Miracle H. Williams, 23, of the 600 block of Kinzer Street was arrested at 4:58 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, at the police station on a Butler County warrant for second-degree burglary. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Samantha Danielle Garrett, 38, of the 1600 block of Kinzer Street was arrested at 3:40 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, at her residence on a Butler County warrant for first-degree burglary. She was booked at the Butler County jail.

John Herman Ilges, 44, of the 1000 block of Nickey Street was arrested at 8:25 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at his residence on a Butler County failure to appear warrant for no insurance. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Tyler Ray Joseph Lawrence, 20, of the 900 block of Faye was arrested at 5:09 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, at the Walmart Supercenter on suspicion of peace disturbance and resisting arrest. He was booked and released on criminal summonses.

Angela Nichole Showen, 37, of the 2000 block of Wallace Street was arrested at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, near the intersection of Benton and Harper streets on a Butler County warrant for probation violation on an original drug offense, two municipal warrants and on suspicion of resisting arrest. She was booked at the Butler County jail.

Michael Paul Furtado, 55, of the 1300 block of Mill Street was arrested at 12:11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, on Oak Street on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident, improper registration, no insurance, failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to signal. He was booked and released on criminal summonses.

Cindy Lynn Carter, 42, of Wappapello was arrested at 6:55 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, on Highway W at Regency Lane on five municipal failure to appear warrants for two counts of state license plate required, two counts of no insurance and stealing, three Butler County warrants for two counts of larceny and possession of a controlled substance and on suspicion of careless and imprudent driving, resisting arrest, failure to obey a traffic control device, no insurance, failure to register a motor vehicle and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.

She was booked at the Butler County jail.

Lamie Melinda Barghouty, 45, of the 2000 block of Greenwood Drive was arrested at 11:33 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, in the 2100 block of North Westwood Boulevard on suspicion of DWI (drugs). She was booked and released.

Ronald Edward Henson, 28, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 8:05 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at the Walmart Supercenter on suspicion of stealing/shoplifting. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Ryan Ellis Parker, 27, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 1:01 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, in the 500 block of South Westwood Boulevard on a warrant for parole violation on an original property damage charge. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

DEXTER POLICE DEPARTMENT

DEXTER — Corey Foster, 30, of Dexter was arrested at 11:27 a.m. Sept. 6 on suspicion of driving while revoked/suspended and on a warrant. Foster was booked at the Dexter City Jail.

DEXTER — Adam Thurman, 29, of Dexter was arrested at 10:20 a.m. Sept. 7 on a Dexter municipal failure to appear warrant. He was booked at the Dexter City Jail.

DEXTER — Anthony Evans, 29, of Dexter was arrested at 6:53 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and possession of fewer than 35 grams of marijuana. He was booked at the Dexter City Jail.

DEXTER — Daniel Seachrist, 48, of Dexter was arrested at 5:25 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, on a Dexter municipal failure to appear warrant. He was booked at the Dexter City Jail.

DEXTER — Travis Burnett, 33, of Dexter was arrested at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, on a Dexter municipal failure to appear warrant. He was booked at the Dexter City Jail.

MALDEN POLICE DEPARTMENT

MALDEN — Tyrone Hudson Jr., 35, of Decatur, Georgia, was arrested Thursday, Sept. 10, on a Malden municipal warrant for contempt of court on a shoplifting charge. He was booked at the Malden City Jail and released on bond.

MALDEN — Kenneth Turnbow, 42, of Kennett was arrested Thursday, Sept. 10, on a warrant for parole violation. He was booked at the Malden City Jail and later transferred to the Dunklin County jail.
