Letter to the Editor

Politicians talk, leaders get results

To the Editor:

It’s election season which means politicians across the country are busy make claims and promises they never intend to keep. We’ve seen time and time again empty campaign promises being used to get ahead — politicians will literally say anything to get elected. Leaders like President Trump get results.

As a former Emergency Management Agency director, I worked side by side with our law enforcement officers and first responders. In the State Senate, I will always support our police officers and ensure they have the tools, resources, and funding they need to keep our families, communities, and themselves safe. There will be no defunding of the police while I’m in office.

As state representative, I successfully worked to balance the state budget and did it without raising taxes. I have consistently opposed tax increases and fought for lower taxes for Missouri families. I passed legislation that prohibited the state from taxing President Trump’s stimulus checks sent to Missouri families.

I am 100% pro-life and successfully passed the strongest Pro-Life bill in the country. In the legislature I fought to defund Planned Parenthood and ensured no tax dollars are being used to support the abortion industry. My strong pro-life record has earned me the endorsement of Missouri Right to Life.

I led the fight for constitutional carry and co-sponsored the Second Amendment Preservation Act, which is the largest expansion of Missourians’ Second Amendment Rights in the history of our state.

Yes, it is election season, but you do not have to take my word for it when it comes to how I will fight for our conservative values in the State Senate. My record of actions speaks for itself. My commitment to you is that I will continue to fight for these values and continue getting conservative results while serving you in the State Senate. I have always supported President Trump and worked to implement his Make America Great Again agenda here in Missouri. I am asking for your vote on August 4th so I can continue fighting for you.
