Poplar Bluff Police

Stephanie Knight of the 100 block of Rhinestone reported at 10:28 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 9, that while she was away from her residence on Jan. 4, a lock box containing several types of prescription medications was stolen.

Mary McNamee of the 2000 block of Arkansas reported at 2:33 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, that her change purse, containing cash, was stolen after it fell out of her open car door while parked at the Murphy express gas station.

Margaret Van Praag of the 1000 block of Maud reported at 1:52 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, that between Jan. 6 and Jan. 9, three hog panels and six T-posts had been stolen from a community garden in her care near the intersection of Ida and Spring streets.

Nancy Reich of the 900 block of Gardner reported at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, that on Dec. 28 someone broke into her garage and stole several items, including a door opener, reciprocating saw, various sanders, nail gun, prescription glasses, jewelry, smokeless grill, air compressor and more.

Aaron Dale Price, 31, of the 300 block of Meadow View was arrested at 4:50 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10, on Marshall Street on failure to appear warrants for burning without a permit, no insurance, stealing, no operator license and no state registration. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Kirk Patrick Murphy, 37, of the 300 block of County Road 464 was arrested at 11:55 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, at the police station on a municipal failure to appear warrant. He was released on bond.

Laquarious Stephon Marshall, 19, who list Coolidge Street and Mulberry Street addresses, was arrested at 5:20 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, on Park Avenue on Dunklin County failure to appear warrants for no seat belt and being a minor visibly intoxicated. He was booked at he Butler County jail.

Lesley Portwood of the 200 block of Lexington reported at 3:59 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, that when she returned home from work, she could not find her WIC vouchers and believed they had been stolen sometime between Jan. 6 and Jan. 9.

Travis Stevenson of the 1300 block of Mill reported at 9:52 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, that the license plates from his 1990 Ford Ranger pickup had been stolen.

Butler Sheriff

Lashonda Sue Perry, 28, of Steele, Missouri, was booked Thursday, Jan. 9, at the Butler County jail on suspicion of first-degree child molestation.

Joseph Christian Robinson, 22, of the 1900 block of Woodrow was booked Thursday, Jan. 9, at the Butler County jail on suspicion of second-degree burglary and stealing.

Elai Edward Roll, 18, of the 600 block of County Road 607 was booked Thursday, Jan. 9, at the Butler County jail on suspicion of fourth-degree domestic assault.

Dallas Glenn Thornton, 28, of the 3700 block of Township Line Road was booked Thursday, Jan. 9, at the Butler County jail on suspicion of tampering with a motor vehicle and a failure to appear warrant for no insurance.

Darnell James Webb, 34, of the 100 block of Hampton was booked Thursday, Jan. 9, at the Butler County jail on suspicion of first-degree harassment and violation of a protection order. He later was released.

Stoddard Sheriff

BLOOMFIELD — Delbert Lynn Withrow, 71, of Puxico was booked at the Stoddard County Jail on a warrant for careless and imprudent driving, DWI and a seat belt violation.

BLOOMFIELD — Justin Joe Aaron Humphries, 25, of Bernie was booked at the Stoddard County Jail on a failure to appear warrant.

BLOOMFIELD — Jeffrey Allen Hobson, 48, of Bloomfield was booked at the Stoddard County Jail on warrants for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Patrol

Two people suffered moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 6:18 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, at the intersection of Highway 25 and U.S. 62 in Dunklin County.

According to the report, a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado pickup driven by Valarie R. Shaffer, 30, of Paragould, Arkansas, pulled into the path of a 2011 Chevrolet Impala, driven by Mary R. Wright, 79, of Campbell, and was struck by Wright’s vehicle.

Shaffer was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment, while Wright was taken by ambulance to SoutheastHEALTH of Stoddard County at Dexter.
