MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL

Two Piedmont residents were injured in a one-vehicle crash at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, on U.S. 60, seven miles west of Van Buren.

According to the report, Ashley A. Santhuff was operating a 2015 Chevrolet Trax eastbound when she failed to negotiate a curve, and her vehicle struck a ditch.

Santhuff and a 5-year-old girl suffered minor injuries and were to seek their own treatment.

Two Campbell residents were injured in a one-vehicle crash at 11:40 a.m. Friday, Nov. 29, on Interstate 55 in Cape Girardeau County.

According to the report, Robert W. Cunningham, 37, was operating a 2005 Ford Escape southbound when it ran off the left side of the road and struck eight cable barrier posts.

Cunningham suffered minor injuries, as did his 33-year-old passenger, Tabitha Pratt. Both were taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for treatment.

Kaelan D. Thompson, 24, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 11:12 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, on suspicion of DWI (drugs) and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked at the Stoddard County Jail and released.

Monica L. Miller, 53, of Dexter was arrested at 1:49 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was booked at the Stoddard County Jail.

Adrian M. Daley, 45, of Laurel, Miss., was arrested at 1:39 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia and on a Madison County, Tenn., warrant. He was booked at the Stoddard County Jail.

Jeffrey N. Swallows, 44, of Dudley was arrested at 10:36 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, on suspicion of DWI, failure to drive on the right half of the road, failure to dim headlights and failure to register a motor vehicle. He was booked at the Stoddard County Jail and released.

Athenna P. Stewart, 42, of Harvey, La., was arrested at 7:34 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, on a New Orleans, La., municipal warrant for aggravated assault. She was booked at the Wayne County Jail.

Jamie L. Shipman, 32, of Doniphan was arrested at 3:55 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance (Clonazepam), possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. She was booked at the Ripley County Sheriff’s Department and released.

Scott E. Mangus, 61, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 9:38 a.m. Friday, Nov. 29, on a Stoddard County warrant for fraud and on suspicion of speeding. He was booked at the Stoddard County Jail.

BUTLER COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

Nathan Glenn Cox, 24, of Springfield, Mo., was booked at the Butler County jail Saturday, Nov. 30, on a Dexter municipal warrant for no insurance. He was released on bond.

Misty Dawn James, 40, of Bloomfield was booked at the Butler County jail Saturday, Nov. 30, on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia. She later was released.

Bryan Matthew Lunsford, 34, of the 500 block of County Road 523 was booked at the Butler County jail Sunday, Dec. 1, on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon.

Stormy Meadow Mullins, 42, of the 1100 block of Nooney was booked at the Butler County jail Saturday, Nov. 30, on a municipal failure to appear warrant for no insurance. Mullins was released on bond.

Scotty Wayne Napier, 34, of the 600 block of Kinzer Street was booked at the Butler County jail Saturday, Nov. 30, on suspicion of driving while revoked/suspended, possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence. He later was released.

Corey Zachariah Smith, 21, of the 5500 block of Highway 67 was booked at the Butler County jail Sunday, Dec. 1, on suspicion of third-degree domestic assault.

Mark Edward Williams, 42, of Neelyville was booked at the Butler County jail Sunday, Dec. 1, on suspicion of peace disturbance.

Jacob Wayne Woods, 18, of Corning, Ark., was booked at the Butler County jail Saturday, Nov. 30, on three failure to appear warrants for two counts of possession of a controlled substance and no valid license.

POPLAR BLUFF POLICE DEPARTMENT

Shaun Bradley Porch, 40, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 8:48 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at The Home Depot on suspicion of stealing. He was booked and released on a criminal summons.

Dustin Glen Putnam, 31, of the 3000 block of Cravens Road was arrested at 10:43 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at the Walmart Supercenter on suspicion of stealing. He was booked at the Butler County jail and later released.

Deseray Croom, 41, of Ellsinore was arrested at 1:36 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at the Walmart Supercenter on suspicion of stealing. He was booked at the Butler County jail and later released.

Jeremy Ryan Swallows, 39, of Dexter was arrested at 11:20 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, at the Walmart Supercenter on suspicion of stealing. He was booked and release don a criminal summons.

Christopher Thomas Davis, 21, of Harviell was arrested at 12:06 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at the police station on five municipal failure to appear warrants for two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, stealing and two counts of possession of marijuana. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Shonda L. Martin, 48, of the 1600 block of North 14th Street was arrested at 12:32 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, in the 1000 block of Davis Street on suspicion of second-degree trespassing. She was booked at the Butler County jail and later released.

A 43-year-old Poplar Bluff man was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 6:13 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, at the intersection of Oak Grove and Shelby roads.

According to the report, Brian Joseph Hicks of the 2700 block of Holly Trail was operating a 2015 Honda motorcycle that was stopped at a red light when a 2017 Ford Escape allegedly collided with it.

The SUV’s driver, Hale Marie Brittingham, 22, of the 200 block of Foxwood Trail, reported she was slowing her vehicle for the red light and did not see Hicks’ motorcycle.

Hicks reported he was waiting for the traffic signal to turn green when his motorcycle allegedly was struck by Brittingham’s SUV.

Hicks was taken by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment.

BLOOMFIELD — Amanda Marie Hudson, 33, of Bloomfield was booked at the Stoddard County Jail on a Cape Girardeau failure to appear warrant. She was released on bond.

MALDEN — Ebony Sinks, 33, of Malden was arrested Friday, Nov. 29, on two Dunklin County warrants for probation violation. She was booked at the Malden City Jail.

MALDEN — Javail Hodges, 28, of Malden was arrested Friday, Nov. 29, on a Malden municipal warrant for defective equipment. He was booked at the Malden City Jail.
