City firefighters responded at 4:59 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, to a report of an unauthorized burn at the intersection of Alice and Bearden streets.

According to the report, firefighters found the occupant at 2025 Alice St. burning leaves. Firefighters told him/her the fire had to be out by dark.

City firefighters responded at 4:56 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, to a report of a possible structure fire at the intersection of Ninth and Cedar streets.

According to the report, firefighters found leaves burning burn at the 831 Kendall Ave. residence owned by Ray Roetzel.

City firefighters responded at 4:56 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, to an alarm at AMC Theaters, 3525 S. Westwood Blvd. It was investigation only.

City firefighters responded at 4:49 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, to a report of an unauthorized burn in the 2600 block of Roxie Road.

According to the report, a fire was found in a burn barrel at 2624 Roxie Road, where the occupant was contacted.

City firefighters responded at 12:57 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, to a report of a gas leak at 2985 Kanell Blvd.

According to the report, firefighters found a gas line had been hit while boring was being done.

Contact was made with gas company personnel.

Firefighters set up a water line in case ignition occurred and stopped traffic in both directions until the leak was repaired.

City firefighters responded at 8:43 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25, to a report of a possible structure fire at 902 Kendall Ave. It was investigation only.

According to the report, firefighters found steam coming from the roof of a shed behind the residence due to frost thawing in the sunlight.

City firefighters responded at 6:53 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25, to 430 Vine St. to assist emergency-medical-services personnel.

According to the report, firefighters opened the Knox box so EMS could gain entry to access a patient who had fallen and needed help.

Firefighters unlocked the door and then re-secured the building.
