Fire reports - Nov. 9
City firefighters responded at 2:56 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, to an alarm at Mark Twain Caring Center, 3001 May St. It was investigation only.
City firefighters responded at 11:02 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, to a report of smoke in the area of Alanís Muffler on South Broadway.
According to the report, firefighters tracked the smoke to the 417 W. Henry St. residence occupied by Josh Montgomery.
Firefighters found a small pile of yard waste and trash burning, and Montgomery put out the fire. Firefighters told Montgomery about the cityís burn ordinance.
