The following cases were recently acted upon in Circuit Court, Criminal Division.


Monica Scrimsher of Doniphan pleaded guilty Jan. 2 to the Class D felony of stealing.

The court suspended the imposition of her sentence and placed her on five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered she pay $46 to the Crime Victims’ Fund (CVF) and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund.


Nathan L. Calhoun of Qulin pleaded guilty Jan. 2 to the Class D felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court suspended the imposition of his sentence and placed him on five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered he pay $46 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund.


Joseph William Chaney of the 2000 block of County Road 459 pleaded guilty Jan. 2 to the Class E felony of resisting arrest.

The court sentence him to two years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.


Robin R. Cogle of Doniphan pleaded guilty Jan. 2 to the Class D felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court sentenced Cogle to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, with suspended execution of the sentence, and placed Cogle on five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered Cogle pay$46 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund.


Justin D. Minks of the 800 block of North Second Street pleaded guilty Jan. 2 to the Class D felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court sentenced him to four years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and ordered the sentence to run concurrently with an other sentence he currently is serving.

The court also ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.


Robert Charles Misouria of the 100 block of Windy Ridge Circle pleaded guilty Jan. 2 to the Class D felony of unlawful possession of a firearm.

The court sentenced him to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and recommended he be placed in a 120-day shock incarceration program. The court also ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.


Gary Duane Crawford of Hornersville, Mo., admitted violating his probation Jan. 2 on the Class B felony of sale of a controlled substance.

The court revoked his probation and ordered the execution of his previously suspended 15-year sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections. The court recommended he be placed in a long-term treatment program, with a bed date of Feb. 25.


Keith W. Stacy of the 1000 block of County Road 533 admitted violating his probation Jan. 2 on the Class D felony of first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle.

The court revoked his probation and ordered the execution of his previously suspended seven-year sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections.


Christopher Edward Glass of Ellsinore pleaded guilty Jan. 8 to the Class E felony of failure to register as a sex offender.

The court sentenced him to two years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, with suspended execution of the sentence, and placed him on five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered he pay $46 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund.


Darwin L. Davis III of the 200 block of County Road 484 was sentenced Jan. 8 after a jury earlier convicted him of the Class D felony of second-degree burglary.

The court sentenced Davis, who was charged as a prior and persistent offender, to eight years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. The court ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.


Rodney Lee Labryer of Fairdealing admitted violating his probation Jan. .8 on the Class D felony of non-support.

The court revoked his probation and sentenced him to four years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, with suspended execution of his sentenced. The court placed him on a new five-year term of supervised probation.

The court ordered he pay $100 per month in current child support and $100 per month in arrears, beginning Feb. 1.


Pamela Tina Burns of Qulin pleaded guilty Jan. 8 to the Class D felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court suspended the imposition of her sentence and placed her on five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered she pay $46 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund.


Laurie Ann Hinsa of Qulin pleaded guilty Jan. 8 to the Class B felony of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

The court sentenced her to 12 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, with suspended execution of the sentence, and placed her on five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered she pay $68 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund.


Dexter Andrew Moore of Poplar Bluff admitted violating his probation Jan. 8 on the Class D felony of first-degree property damage and pleaded guilty to the Class D felony of stealing.

The court revoked his probation and sentenced him to four years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. Moore was ordered to pay $1,955 in restitution.

The court also sentenced Moore four years in prison on the stealing charge and ordered he pay $46 to the CVF and $945.92 in restitution. The court ordered Moore’s sentences to be served concurrently.


Jessica N. White of Malden admitted violating her probation Jan. 8 on the Class A misdemeanor of passing a bad check.

The court revoked her probation and sentenced her to six months in the Butler County jail, with suspended execution of her sentence.

The court placed her on two years’ supervised probation through the Citizens’ Advisory Board and ordered she pay $135 in restitution and complete a financial management program.


Tyler Ray Williams of the 1700 block of Highway W admitted violating his probation Jan. 8 on the Class E felony of third-degree domestic assault.

The court revoked his probation and sentenced him to four years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.


Donnie Ray Davis of the 700 block of Sanders Street admitted violating his probation Jan. 15 on the Class B felony of sale of controlled substance and pleaded guilty to two Class D felonies of stealing and second-degree burglary.

The court revoked his probation and sentenced him to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.

The court sentenced Davis to two, seven-year terms in the Missouri Department of Corrections on his stealing and burglary cases.

The court ordered he pay $46 to the CVF in each of his new cases.

The court also ordered Davis’ sentences to be served concurrently.


Lee Roy Foley II of Kennett, Mo., was granted a change of venue Jan. 15 to Dunklin County on the Class C felony of driving while intoxicated (drug intoxication/aggravated offender).


Jeremy Scott Louis of Qulin pleaded guilty Jan. 15 to the Class D felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court suspended the imposition of his sentence and placed him on five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered he pay $46 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund.


Caleb Edward Jordan Smith of the 100 block of East Harper Street pleaded guilty Jan. 15 to the Class D felony of forgery and the Class C felony of stealing.

The court sentenced Smith to two seven-year terms in the Missouri Department of Corrections, with suspended execution of the sentences.

The court placed Smith on five years’ supervised probation and ordered he pay $46 to the CVF in each of his cases.

The court also ordered Smith to pay $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund and $2,216 in restitution in his forgery case. The court ordered Smith’s sentenced to be served concurrently.


Tricia Nicole Ellis of the 2700 block of Holly Trail admitted violating her probation Jan. 15 on the Class C felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court revoked her probation and sentenced her to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, with suspended execution of her sentence.

The court placed her on a new five-year term of supervised probation and ordered she enter and successfully complete an alternative services program.


Henry E. Kuehner of the 100 block of South Riverview Drive entered an Alford plea Jan. 15 on the Class D felony of second-degree assault.

The court sentenced him to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, with suspended execution of the sentence, and placed him on five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered he enter and successfully complete an anger management program, as well as pay $46 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund.


Michael Kenneth Joslyn of the 600 block of North Grand Avenue pleaded guilty Jan. 15 to the Class D felony of second-degree statutory rape.

The court sentenced him to five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.


Michael David Nunley of the 900 block of Delano Street pleaded guilty Jan. 15 to the Class D felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court sentenced him to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, with suspended execution of his sentence, and placed him on five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered he pay $46 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund.


Jonathan Frederick Cooper of the 200 block of County Road 321 was sentenced Jan. 15 after earlier pleading guilty to the Class D felony of second-degree domestic assault.

The court sentenced him to five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.


Georgia N. Dudley of the 2300 block of Arkansas Avenue admitted violating her probation Jan. 15 on the Class C felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court revoked her probation, sentenced her to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and recommended she be placed in a 120-day shock incarceration program, with a bed date of Feb. 11.


Christopher D. Gregory of the 4500 block of Highway M pleaded guilty to the Class C felony of delivery of a controlled substance.

The court sentenced Gregory, who was charged as a prior and persistent offender, to 15 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.

The court recommended he be placed in a 120-day shock incarceration program, with a bed date of Feb. 18. The also ordered Gregory to pay $46 to the CVF.


Querone Harrison Jones of the 1100 block of Benton Street pleaded guilty Jan. 15 to the Class D felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court sentenced him to five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and ordered the sentence to run concurrently with any other sentence he currently is serving. The court also ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.


Cody Mast of the 1900 block of Highway W was sentenced Jan. 15 after earlier being found in violation of his probation on the Class D felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court revoked his probation and ordered the execution of his previously suspended five-year sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections.


Darrell Lee Uelsman of Willard, Mo., pleaded guilty Jan. 15 to the Class D felony of unlawful possession of a firearm.

The court sentenced him to four years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and ordered the sentence to be served concurrently with any other sentence he currently is serving. The court also ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.


Charles Lee Wilcox II of the 900 block of 11th Street pleaded guilty Jan. 15 to two Class C felonies of delivery of a controlled substance.

The court sentenced White to two, 10-year terms in the Missouri Department of Corrections and ordered his sentences to be served concurrently. The court recommended Wilcox be placed in a 120-day shock incarceration program.

The court also ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.


Matthew Allen Evans of the 2200 block of Bradley Street admitted violating his probation Jan. 22 on the Class D felony of non-support.

The court revoked his probation and sentenced him to four years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, with suspended execution of his sentenced, and placed him on a new five-year term of supervised probation.

The court ordered he pay $133 per month in current child support and $100 per month in arrears, beginning March 1.


Rodney E. Leonard of the 500 block of County Road 475 pleaded guilty Jan. 22 to the Class B felony of driving while intoxicated (habitual offender).

The court sentenced him to five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and ordered his sentence to run concurrently with any other sentence he currently is serving. The court also ordered he pay $68 to the CVF.


James Lee Magouirk of Qulin pleaded guilty Jan. 22 to the Class B misdemeanor of driving while intoxicated.

The court sentenced him to six months in the Butler County jail, with suspended execution of his sentence, and placed him on two years’ supervised probation through the Citizens’ Advisory Board.

The court ordered he pay $10 to the CVF, $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund and $156 recoupment to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.


Misty Dawna Wallace, no address listed, pleaded guilty Jan. 22 to the Class D felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court suspended the imposition of her sentence and placed her on five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered she pay $46 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund and complete 100 hours of community service.


Lakishian N. Young of Blytheville, Ark., pleaded guilty Jan. 22 to the Class D felony of second-degree assault.

The court suspended the imposition of Young’s sentence and placed Young on five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered Young pay $46 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund.


Dennis Wile Elliott of Oxly pleaded guilty Jan. 22 to the Class C felony of third-degree child molestation.

The court sentenced him to four years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.


Rodney E. Leonard of the 500 block of County Road 475 admitted violating his probation Jan. 22 on the Class A misdemeanor of driving while intoxicated (alcohol/prior offender) and pleading guilty to the Class B felony of driving while intoxicated (habitual offender).

The court revoked his probation and ordered the execution of his previously suspended six-month sentence in the Butler County jail.

The court also sentenced him to five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and ordered his sentence to be served concurrently with any other sentence he currently is serving. The court also ordered he pay $68 to the CVF.
