Kathryn Louise KeaslerKathryn Louise Keasler, daughter of the late Willie Earl Vieth and Helen Dawson Vieth, was born in Vinson, Mo. on Nov. 7, 1935 and departed this life at her daughter's residence Oct. 20, 2018, in Cordova, Tenn. at the age of 82 years.Mrs. Keasler ran a Pre-School Day Care in Bernie and was loved by many. She was a member of White Oak Grove General Baptist Church of rural Bernie, previously she had been a member of Parma General Baptist Church for many years.She was united in marriage to Carl Gene Keasler in Vinson, Mo. Oct. 5, 1956. Mr. Keasler preceded his wife in death Dec. 8, 2017.Survivors include four children, Kathy King and husband Paul of Cordova, Tenn., Kerri Patton and husband Bill of Collierville, Tenn. Kim Keasler of Lakeland, Tenn. and Kris Keasler and wife Cathy of Bernie, Mo.; two brothers, Roger Vieth and Bill Vieth, both of Bernie, Mo.; one sister, Peggy Cox of Houma, La.; eight grandchildren, Brian Payne and wife Alicia, Gentri Calvin and husband Jon, Cortney May and husband Bryan, Emily Payne, Jacob Rowland, Whittney Carter, Daniel Payne, and Blake Keasler; six great-grandchildren, Kylah Payne, Bryson Payne and Ballen Payne, Lydia Calvin, Hudson and Miller May; also by other relatives and many friends.She was preceded in death other than by her parents and her husband, one sister, Carolyn Lutes; one great-grandson, Jackson Cooper May.Friends called at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018. Funeral services were conducted on Friday Morning, Oct. 26, 2018 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo. at 11 a.m. Rev. Gerald Fadler officiating. Interment will follow.
