Cut funding

for Downtown

Now that the City Council has cast their vote to NOT support the downtown revitalization project and the city manager has made it clear that the city's cash reserves are dangerously low, the City Council, if they have any commitment to fiscal responsibility, must review all proposed downtown projects, i.e., Dog Park, and the cost of personnel committed solely to the downtown revitalization, i.e., Director of Downtown revitalization. Anything less will be a demonstration of their complete lack of business acumen and financial ineptness.

We won't buy

these city bonds

Amen to Sunday's editorial.

My wife and I have always supported the city by buying city bonds. We would not touch these new bonds with a 50 percent interest.

I can't imagine any legitimate lending agency selling these bonds unless the city pays a high rate of interest.

With the city's financial difficulty the bonds would have to be listed as junk bonds.

Thank you four council members!! Considering you make one dollar a year you are grossly overpaid

Massingham

never returns calls

Yes, I would like to know what's up with our 'ol whatcha call good city manager Mr. Massingham? That you can call and call and call and call and leave messages, text or whatever. He can't get back with you. Sure am glad I'm not one of your family members. You all print everything under the sun about the ex-city manager what about this one? He's not a dadgum bit better. Print this one why don't ya? You don't print anything bad about Mark Massingham.

A mustache and

nose hair mix

Guess what? Beard wearers are missing. A trend under their noses it appears nose hair is starting their upper lip hair. Thank you.
