Being elderly or

sick is no excuse

Attention all elderly, disabled and other people that are just lazy shoppers in Poplar Bluff. It is not ok for you to not put your shopping cart up.

If you are so sickly that you, all you can do to shop and leave the cart, right by, beside your car maybe you should consider a different route for obtaining the things that you need from a grocery store.

Perhaps you should take the bus. Perhaps you have a relative or friend that might help you with such a arduous task. It is not ok for you to slam your shopping cart into my vehicle. That is never cool.

If you're just generally lazy I wish you would just shop @ Aldi. I know you'd go runnin' back for that quarter. How 'bout if you feel so sickly you park near the shopping cart corral and take a shopping cart from the corral on the parking lot and haul it into the store so you have something to hold onto to keep your balance and you could take your time getting up to the store. There's no need to be a jerk and just leave your cart.

Rep. Smith is all

wrong on the debt

The noted southeast Missouri economist Jason Smith thinks that a tax cut will pay off a 21 trillion dollar debt. What an idiot! We need some changes people.

How justice is

dispensed in Mo.

Didn't it make you proud to know how justice is dispensed here in the State of Missouri, county of Butler, city of Poplar Bluff? Two men, one a nobody, one a prominent local businessman, both do exactly the same thing. One of 'em goes scott free, one of 'em gets four years. I guess it's all about who you know and how much money ya got.

Our country being

run into ground

Hello Speak Out. Washington is full of bureaucrats who increase our debts and deficits. When are we gonna wake up? They are runnin' our country into the ground right in front of our eyes! The only way to stop it is to make changes.
