No respect even for a lock

A locked gate. Why in the world would someone put a lock on a gate? Well, in my case, I put the lock on the gate to keep people out who have no business being there, but it's amazing how many times I go by and there's someone out there that does not belong out there. People have no respect for anybody or anything anymore. And other people seem to think they have right to tell other people that, "Yeah, you can go in there." Well, guess what? No! You can't! You are trespassing. I mean most people with a brain would known, hm, that gate is locked. That must mean I should not go in there. I'm not the smartest person in the world, but I know that if I come up on a locked gate and I don't have a key or permission to be in there I should not climb over the gate, under the fence to get in there. So come on, people, have a brain! Let the world know you are smart instead of stupid.

Unless I'm mistaken if someone else knows why you put a lock on a gate other than to keep people out and maybe something else. Please put it in Speak Out so you can straighten me out so I'll know I'm the dumb one. Thank you.
