Is President

Trump a racist?

Yes, this is in response to and, for the newscaster who called President Trump, um, a racist. I believe she shouldn't have done that. However, on the other side of the coin with the actions and words that President Trump says on international television and radio it leads up to absolutely no other conclusion. I would, I'm looking, and I'm sure others are looking forward to President Trump, and, say he's sorry for calling people a nut job.

Ressel should

have admitted it

Well, I just read today's paper about Mr. Spain, uhh, spoutin' off how wonderful Mr. Ressel is and this young girl's death. Number one, if he's such a upstanding and wonderful man, why didn't he come forward and say, "yes, I hit the girl" ya know. Stand up and be a man! Instead of a mouse and run and hide behind some lawyer. That's the problem, not God-fearing law abidin' citizens. Um, and I seen were he is still, um, ya know facing a charge for tampering. Well if he didn't think he done anything wrong why was he allegedly with tamperin' with his vehicle?

Spain should keep

his mouth shut

Mr. Spain, I would advise you the next time when you get a gift horse to give a gift like your were given to keep your mouth SHUT and go on down the road! All you did was stir the pot a little bit more. How many contested coroner reports are overturned in a court of law? This inept, incompetent person who really doesn't have the training for the job went in different directions. Only you and only Mr. Ressel really know what happened that night. He didn't know whether she was dead or alive. He was just worried 'cause he had been to two different bars in town and ran up a substantial bar tab at both businesses and this has been documented. It, it's sad. All's he would've had to have done was say, "I did it". All's he would've had to have done was to pull over and stop. At least he would've had some kinda compassion rather than the arrogance showin', thinkin' that you really pulled one over. Yeah, he temporarily got away with it. But I think he's banned, not banned from the community, he lost his job, he won't set on the college board anymore. And he will suffer from this the rest of his life. And, and I sincerely feel sorry for 'em. But don't try to rub it in our nose or the DAR's when they've done an excellent job of reportin' this and keepin' it goin'. Thank you DAR for your excellent job in coverin' this story and Mr. Spain take your gift and keep your mouth shut!

Don't claim Ressel

is the victim here

Open speakout to Samuel P. Spain:

Your letter whines about the DAR's coverage of your involvement in orchestrating this miscarriage of justice.

You have manipulated the legal system so Ben Ressel could escape responsibility for his bad behavior.

So don't claim Ben is the victim here. Good Lord!!

The public is a good deal smarter than you and your cronies, who you name and defend. TRUTH is what it is. Live with it!!

P.S. You seem to have overlooked the fact that a little girl is dead.

Thank God for Don Schrieber.

Lower corporate

taxes won't help

In the DAR article, uh 9/19, Mr. Matthew R. Shay wrote an article saying lowering corporate taxes will send workers' wages soaring. I want to know what makes him think lower corporate taxes pleadings will be priced to the laborers. I say lower taxes will just go to the corporate profits and very little will go to the workers.

That money

isn't from Walmart

Walmart is probably the wealthiest corporation in the world. Each one of the Walton family members are always on the list of the wealthiest people in the world. When we have a disaster like Hurricane Harvey, I really think that the dollar that I give to the person at the register then they would donate to the Red Cross Relief Fund. I really feel it should be matched by a dollar from the Waltons. I honestly believe that! I know it's their money to do with as they see fit, but they sure do get a lot of tax breaks from our community especially and I don't see it being paid forward when it needs to be paid forward. I'm not saying Walmart never does anything, but I guarantee you that dollar I give at the register for Red Cross Relief when it's presented to the Red Cross it will be presented from Walmart when it was really from little ole me.

I don't begrudge giving money to people who need something, but I really begrudge the little regard we have in this country that constantly take and are given but they don't give it back.
