Flies in the

nursing home

I am a resident in a skilled nursing home in P.B. Mo. We all have the same problem -- flies in our room and the dining room.

We are not allowed fly spray or fly office strips. Following the letter of the law, what can be done? Estimate 50 to 60 percent of us cannot use a fly swatter effectively.

Schools should require flu shots

With school starting soon why not make it mandatory for kids to have flu shots before school starts? That way when flu season hits there may not be as many missed school days. There's always too many days missed not made up.
