What is with all these campaign signs going up on highway right-of-ways and public property? Did the candidates get permission from the city or state to put them there? There are only three reasons why any candidate would put a sign up where the rules very plainly prohibit signs from being erected. First, the candidate is ignorant of the rules. Second, the candidate does not care about the rules and thinks they don't apply to them. Or third, the candidate is too lazy to get permission to put the signs on private property where they are allowed. No matter which reason applies, all three speak to whether the candidate should be elected or not.
