Protect citizens

Taking away people's drivers license will not stop the problems of these young people driving under the influence of drugs - alcohol, which is dangerous to us law abiding citizens. They even drive on suspended license. What are our police - sheriff's dept. thinking? Fine them, give them slap on the wrist. They are gone ready to go again. Look at the DAR; in there every day.

Taking license plates will not work, either. They just go and get plates of another vehicle or steal them.

They go get one month insurance to get license, go back, get their money back. No insurance again. The only way to stop that is to make them get 3-6 months insurance. Do Not Give Their Money Back. These people should be off the road. Us law abiding citizens pay out the rear to stay legal and this is what we have to put up with.

Come on, law enforcement, Do Your Job what you were put in office for. To protect our legal citizens.

Plain and safe

You know if the upset citizen from Illinois who is probably just fed up with the arrogance of those in elected office that starts at the court house and goes on, but he probably had no idea who those people were and probably what gave it away they were members of Congress was the uniforms of the security that was with them. If he had known what those people looked like and who they were he would not have had to ask if they were Republicans or Democrats. So perhaps they should consider having plain clothes security and not be waving a flag - here we are. Just a thought. Thank you.

I live at Wappapello north of the dam and have to drive the by-pass to go to church, the grocery store or to Poplar Bluff. The by-pass is so terribly rough. The other night two black SUVs and a white SUV went around me at the worst part of the road. The dust was so thick I could hardly see causing me to stop. Then another time two sheriff's deputies passed another car causing the dust storm again! My complaint is that is if the law enforcements are so careless or reckless what are we to do?
