FISK, Mo. - Ruby Mae Kerr, age 67, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at her residence, in Poplar Bluff. Mrs. Kerr was born July 24, 1949 in Broseley, daughter of the late Virgil "Casey"and Annie Belle Jones. She had worked at Commerce Bank for 23 years. She had attended Black River General Baptist Church. Ruby enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, boating, flower gardening, traveling and going to the ocean, playing games and spending time with her family and friends. On January 1, 1990 she married Robert Kerr he survives. Also surviving are three children: Robyn Brookreson and husband Steve, Ron Kerr and Bob Kerr and wife Marty all of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; daughter in-law: Debbie Jenkins; three sisters: Betty Nicholson of Fisk, Mo., Helen Colter of Poplar Bluff, Mo. and Frances Summers of Bernie, Mo.; one brother-in-law: Larry Kerr and wife Alice of Bastrop, Texas; nine grandchildren: Alex Ezell of Little Rock, Ark. and Dylan and Casey Browning both of Poplar Bluff, John Kerr and wife Amber, Jenny Scott and husband Gary, Ryan and Tyler West, Steven and Alton Brookreson and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters: Racheal Leonard and Lisa West; one brother: William Jr. Jones; two sisters: Margie Gallamore and Vernetta Henderson. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 25 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Sanders officiating.
