9th & Davis 'S'

curve dangerous

Hey, Speak Out, I'd like to comment of the "S" curves on N. 9th St. and on Davis St. I've almost been side-swiped or hit head-on there on those curves cause people are driving too fast and they cut across the yellow center line. Something needs to be done about it before someone really gets hurt badly.

It's getting worse all the time. I'd like to suggest that the city police patrol these areas and make arrests. Also I'd like to suggest as an alternative that the street department put down yellow tack strips with warning signs. Either one should slow speeders down and make the city some money through fines and the street department would probably never have to paint the yellow strips again. Thank you.

Give complainer

a math book

Well, this is concerning the person who was griping about the Ellsinore police. I don't know how to tell him this. Maybe he didn't do his math real good. The speed limit is 55 mph and you are going five miles over -- that's 60, so get over yourself and think about it, nut cake. I mean, my goodness, even first, second and third graders could figure that out. You don't have the right to go five miles over, so thank you. Someone needs to get him a math book. Thank you.

How did the

people they

killed feel?

Well I've been a readin' in the paper and seen on the news about these people in Arkansas making inhumane -- they don't want to hurt these eight people that killed. Why don't they ask the people they killed about how they felt? They don't want to hurt them inmates. What about the people they killed? How about the judge? How would he feel if that was some of his family that they killed? Or that they beat to death and bludgeoned to death and beat with a hammer and everything else they did? Why don't they ask those people that are dead now how they felt? Why don't we quit worrying about those people and do what needs to be done? In other countries, it's an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. Stand up for the right. Stand up for the right of the people that died at the hands of these vicious killers. Thank you. And I'm sure you won't print that!
